Homework Yr2: The food pyramid

This weekend we are working on an individual food pyramid.  It's similar to the one we have done at school but this time you have the names of the foods in English.  You can either cut little photographs of those foods and stick them on your pyramid, or draw & color your own pictures. Don´t forget to watch the videos on the digestive system so you revise new concepts.

Este fin de semana vamos a trabajar en nuestra pirámide de los alimentos de forma individual.  Es parecida a la que hemos hecho en clase pero tiene los nombres de los alimentos en inglés.  Podéis pegar los alimentos recortándolos de pequeñas revistas de los supermercados, o bien dibujarlos y colorearlos vosotros mismos.  No os olvidéis de ver los videos del aparato digestivo para repasar los contenidos nuevos de esta semana.

Let's look at the different food groups and what they do for us.  This video is in English and you may not always understand, but I'm sure you will get the main ideas because we have already studied them in class.

This video in Spanish is quite funny.  Try doing Yoga at home with your brothers and sisters or your parents.  It will help you with your concentration and relaxation.
